As I awaken in the morning night
I feel so strongly thy inner Light
My energy pure and untouched by the mind
And all of the things in my day that I find

I see in this moment the truth of Being
How I feel is simply a matter of clear-seeing
Thy Presence alone cannot be harmed
It's only thy mind that causes alarm
~
For who I am is eternal and pure
It's the image of I that cannot endure
These opinions, thoughts, ideas and beliefs
But thy Spirit is beyond this blinding deceit
~
For I am Light and Love, and Peace and Joy
Infinitely untouched by thy mind's ploys!
And in this space, where silence and stillness meet
I know within resides everything I seek.
