Say goodbye to toxic fragrances in perfumes with this super easy DIY recipe! It's quick and easy to make, and the best part is you can customize it to your liking :) Here are a couple of my favorite blends:
Chamomile Lavender
- 5 organic dried chamomile flowers
- 1/4 tsp organic lavender flowers
- Organic sweet almond oil
Floral Rose
- 4 Organic dried rose buds
- Organic sweet almond oil
- 3-4 drops organic geranium essential oil
Calendula Orange
- 1-2 tsp organic dried calendula flowers
- Organic sweet almond oil
- 3-4 drops organic sweet orange essential oil
Directions
- Insert flowers into a 10ml roll top glass bottle. I get these bottles from Whole Foods, but most natural grocery stores will have them.
- Fill the bottle with organic almond oil, or carrier oil of choice. Use a small funnel if you're worried about spilling.
- Add organic essential oil if using. Note: For a guide to the purest essential oils check out this report!
- Snap roller ball lid onto bottle. Roll bottle between palms to evenly mix oils and enjoy as desired!
- Tip: You can also get your organic dried flowers from local herb stores if you want to avoid shipping costs. Bonus: Get creative and use the leftover flowers in teas and facial steams!
